100 ChildHood Memories...

Well, since i've been seeing the childhood memories list, I thought it'd be fun to give it a go! :)

I remember....
101. My old house in New York
102. It was so far out in the country. it was a huge deal just going to the grocery store.
103. Going to Walbaums (equivilant to Brunos or something) and getting rainbow cookies and having the deli lady give me and my sister Cheese samples.
104. My mom always letting us 'test' the grapes before buying them
105. Our family dog, Remi
106. I'd eat her food and water as a child..ew
107. One year for halloween my sister was teasing her and said "now remi, Don't bite the trick-or-treaters!" and Remi bit her thumb...
108. My parents 'took Remi to the pound' the next day.
109. I hadn't had another dog until this year.
110.my and my sister each had a hampster.
111. Mines name was Scoma and hers was Barkley, after the basketball player
112. Scoma stood for...Scum crudded on my a**. My mom made it up, i thought it was funny when I was 4...
113. Scoma died early in life.. so i got another one.. Sugar!!
114. We thought we had 2 girl hampsters but Sugar and Barkley had babies...
115. One day i was carrying one of the hampster babies and dropped it on the ground
116. we came back from a vacation to find we had a 3 legged baby hampster... we assumed it was the one i dropped.
117. Our basement was scary, we always thought something would grab our legs walking down the stairs.
118. We did have a pool, very small pool, I remember my uncle could jump over the side of it (it was above ground)
119.My carpet was blue. and my sisters was purple.
120. Every single Christmas as a child-i was sick. Either throwing up, or i had the flu, or a cold, or bronchitis, or something!
121. I remember pre-school and being REALLY shy.
122. Show and Tell days were more like give your item to the teacher to show and tell it for me.
123. My best friend in preschool was named Victoria
124. For my birthday she gave me a red mickey mouse watch and a lace hair bow!
125. As a little kid i ALWAYS wanted a power wheels. If my friends had one i was SO jealous
126. I loved eating soft boiled eggs with salt with my mom.
127.One time my mom took my family roller skating and she was scared to skate so me and my sister dragged her out on the rink. A bunch of rowdy boys were messing around and slammed into her really hard and broke her arm. It was so scary!
128. My dad worked at Stewarts..gas station/ice cream place. They had the BEST cotton candy ice cream on the planet.
129. Me and my sister loved playing donkey kong or super mario brothers together.
130. We loved watching nickelodeon also. Guts, Doug, Salute Your Shorts were some of our favorites.
131. And Are You Afriad Of The Dark was a fav. too!!
132. When The Lion King came out on VHS, my mom hammered blankets to the windows and made the living room a "Theater" for us to watch it. We all cried at that movie.
133. My grandma would come for visits and always bring us presents, no matter what.
134. Me and my sister had the same baby-sitter from the time i was 6 months old until the day we moved when i was 6 years old. We still keep in touch!
135. One time we had a differet baby sitter who let me and my sister play hide and seek, and told me to hide in the Washing machine....my mom got sooo angry and we never saw her again
136. My mom Always would have her cam corder out. we loved watching what she had just recorded on tv. It was always fun.
137. The looong drive to Alabama from New York.
138. I remember the ride being so hot i stripped down to my skivvies!
139. Arriving at our new house there were presents for me and my sister form my moms friend.
140. It was window art that my mom was Not crazy about
141. Every 4th of July my dad would roast marshmellows on the stove for smores haha
142. He'd always buy alot of fireworks..i loved it
143.Meeting my best friend Hannah in 4th grade.
144. She got onto my school bus and for some reason i remember thinking, i wanna be her friend!
145. And she just happened to live like 4 seconds from my house. Best friends ever since.
146. Hannah telling me about her church and me not liking it and getting angry whenever she'd bring it up.
148. I don't quite remember my first time going to church with Hannah. But i remember going to Primary and singing songs, and learning things in Sunday School. I loved going. I loved the song A Child's Prayer.
149. I was always really scared that someone would ask me to say a prayer in church because i never knew what to say.. (Now i know it's a blessing to be able to pray to our HF!)
150.I learned so much from going to church with Hannah as kids...drawing in sacrament..trying to guess what we were 'spelling' on each others backs with our finger tips..making hannahs dad make the blood rush out of our hands..look at all the cute babies and plot which ones we'd ask to hold afterwards..ah yes..
151. Me and Hannah always babysat together. I remember all the families were always from church, and all of them had beautiful pictures of the temple hung on their walls. And i was always in awe of the Salt Lake Temple. Hannah would always say "thats where i'm going to married one day!"
152. Me and my sister used to stay up for hours.. and i mean ALL night we'd play barbies. Dressing them, making them houses... it was hours and hours of fun!
153. We'd pretend they got married or had kids or had sleep overs.
154. I used to be in Girl Scouts.
155. I loved it so much. But one day the leader wanted our help cleaning up her upstairs.. lets just say me and hannah did Not want to clean so we called my mom and told her to pick us up. My mom was angry. needless to say me and hannah weren't girl scouts anymore haha
156. I used to be in the LMS band.
157. I played trumpet and LOVED it. I was usually always 1st chair.
158. One time i got 4th chair... and cried
159. I got a Most Improved Musician Award in band my freshman year!
160. I quit band before high school and havn't touched my trumpet ever since. I loved band though
161. Going to Disney World with the band.. twice. Was some of the best times i've ever had!
162. Meeting my other best friend, Jessica Hess for the first time.
163. Me and Hannah were going to the movies and Hannah told me there was a new girl in the ward joining us and i was like UGH man i hate new people haha.
164. But we ended up being best friends!
165. I remember seeing her brother, Dusty for the first time at a Volleyball game at the Stake Center. I liked his sneakers...
166. I used to always tell Jessica how cute i thought her brother was but KNEW that he was SO way outta my league and too old.
167. We used to go in his room when he wasn't home and i'd look at his clothes... it was weird.
168. Riding the school bus was never my favorite thing. I think this is where my now deathly fear of people throwing up started.
169. You always knew what to do in the school bus throw up situation.... Put your knees on the seat in front of you and PRAY that u'd get to school FAAAST
170. At one of our many family vacations, i was in georgia and i thought what looked like a dirty patch of sand was safe to step on was actually a puddle in disguise and my leg flew in that puddle up to my knee and i was SO angry at my laughing family!
171. going to girls camp and getting 'care packages'.
172. I loved reading all of the letters and criiied my eyes out every year until i was a 2nd level YCL.
173.watching YCL's as a second level girl. I admired them so much and couldn't wait to be one.
174. necklacing a 4th level girl making her a YCL was so special to me.
175. For christmas one year my parents got me a Lee Middleton doll.
176. All my baby dolls were girls so i specifically requested a boy.
177. His name is Joey Schuler! I loved him So much and brought him every where. I loved when people would say "Oh my.. i thought that was a Real baby!"
178.I always loved pretending i had a baby.
179. My mom would always let me buy them real diapers and baby food (that i would eat for them) and bottles and baby clothes. I even had some shoes for Joey from Foot Locker!
180. Without me knowing, my mom threw away Most all of my baby dolls baby clothes! It still makes me mad to this day!

182. I loooved that baby like he was my own!
183. Hannah always complained that i came over just to see him and not her haha
184. Me and hannah used to climb on the roof and set pillows and blankets and dare each other to jump down onto it.
185. We used to play this game where we'd make some sort of food in the kitchen for the other that they HAD to taste and guess what it was
186. When my sister moved out of the house.
187. i cried all night the first night she was gone.
188. when my sister moved back in!
189. my first date with my now husband.
190. Since his family was in Utah for the summer and he was the only one home, I text Dusty to ask him if sometime while he was there if I could come by and get my yearbook from Jessica's room (we had like never ever spoke) and ya know what he said to me.....
191. ONLY IF U STAY AND WATCH A MOVIE WITH ME
192. I remember this being the most excited heart racing text i've ever recieved!
193. Nobody was happy for me and Dusty when we first started dating because it was "weird" that i was dating my Best Friends brother. But who cares:)
194. They got over it ;)
195. My first job at Buffalos. I hated this job. It was the only job that i just up and left... no warning. It felt good though to leave though haha
196. My second job, the Disney Store was wonderful. I loved it so much but didn't have enough hours so i was forced to quit and move on.
197. When my Sisters ex boyfriend tried to teach me to drive a manual. I was terrible!
198. Me and Dustys first kiss. It was so lame lol. I have this thing where I make a wish on 11:11. And i told him to wish also. and after it he said Ya wanna know what I wished for!! and i was like.. suuure. And i guess he wished that he'd kiss me or something cause thats what he did hahaha. I remember saying "u little devil" and feeling really dumb about it. He still jokes that i said that
199. My dad being such a great cook throughout my life. Nobody cooks as good as my dad in my opinion.
200. Last but not least..I remember being a very very happy child. With a great family who always supported me and i love them for that :)

Well, I suppose i'll try to come up with 100 things about me! I really don't know if I can haha!!

2. My Maiden name is Schuler
3. I still havn't gone to the Social Security to fully change my name, but i still sign Hess anyway :)
4. I just got married
5. The wedding date was August 11, 2007
6. It was held at 5:30 pm
7. At the Grooms parents house
8. My husbands name is Dustin Boyer Hess
9. We have a puppy named Ellie Mae
10. We love her very much
11. We have a house in Park Meadow
12. That house used to be my sister-in-laws house!
13. I have 1 sister
14. her name is Jessi
15. I have 2 sisters in law
16. Mandi Wight, and Jessica Hess
17. I love them both alot!!
18. I also have a brother in law, Wesley
19. I've lived in Madison, Al for 12 years
20. I used to live in Newburgh NY
21. I like it here SOOOO much better
22. My favorite color to decorate with is probably red
23. I'm not good at decorating
24. but I really wished i was!
25. Me and Dusty still havn't cleaned up the house fully from gft opening after our wedding
26. We are terrible about keeping the house clean.
27. I love listening to music
28. I love getting online and going on Myspace or here!
29. I looove when people leave comments!
30. I work at Adams Homes
31. I'm a receptionist!
32. All i do all day is answer the phone and direct people to other people.
33. I also just sit on the computer and wait for people to message me or something
34. It's pathetic haha
35. I also inherited 2 nephews with my marriage!
36. Carsen and Parker...
37. They are so adorable!
38.When i was younger my family went on family vacations every single year
39. One of our favorite places is Panama City Beach
40. My sister and mom both got tattoos while down there.
41. I love make-up
42. Not that i'm really good at putting it on.. but i can't resist buying new lip glosses haha
43.I have 3 best friends
44. Jessica, Hannah, and Katie
45. Jessica is also my sister in law
46. I've been no Destin and Gatlinburg with Jessica's family
47. Some of my Favorite memories come from family vacations
48. I just got a new car
49. It's a ford Escape..Jessica's old car! haha
50. I love going to church when I can
51. I'm not a member of the LDS church
52. But i plan to be very soon
53. I've been going to church since I was 9 with Hannah
54. I went most of seminary.. I stopped going halfway through my senior year
55. That is #1 on my regrets list.
56. I love home cooked meals
57. My mom makes the best mashed potatoes in the world.
58. I can't cook at all
59. But i wished SO bad that I could!
60. My husband is a very picky eater
61. I will eat almost anything you put in front of me.
62. The only food i actually hate is black olives.
63.My dog is really bad at begging
64. People always tell me to train her haha
65.i LOVE my wedding band and engagement ring
66. I love dusty's too, but he can't wear them at work :/
67.I love talking about food haha
68. My favorite restaurant is Macaroni Grill
69. The Chicken Scallopine is to DIE FOR
70. My dad makes his own version which is also VERY good
71. Dusty says i have an addiction to food.
72. I only will eat oreos if they are Double Stuf!
73. When I was little, me and my sister would play Barbies all night long
74. We'd always fight about who got what barbie and who got to use the jewelry box as the barbies beds haha
75. I used to love to play Grand Theft Auto
76. Not so much anymore
77. I went 5 years of girls camp.
78. I loved every year of it and miss it terribly
79. I can't wait to have a child
80. I'm too young for one now...but i do want one!
81. I love looking at peoples pictures of their kids
82. I love watching babies at church.
83. One time at church i was sitting behind Sister Meredith and her family, and her youngest son leaned his head on his moms shoulder and her daughter looked at him and hugged him and his mom.. oh it was so sweet i started cryin in sacrament haha
84. I'm very emotional!
85. Anything to do with families.. mother daughter..father daughter.. stuff like that makes me cry!!
86. But i like crying!
87. I like tear jerker movies
88. i have the BIGGEST fear of people throwing up.
89. The sound of gagging makes me wanna plug my ears and run away!
90. Most people get annoyed with me and say 'stop acting like that' haha.. but i can NOT help it!!
91. Me and dusty love the names Owen, and Landon for baby names
92. I also like McKensie or McKenna for girls names.
93. I love that Dana named her daughter Bradley... i think thats adorable. and i hope i spelled that right!
94.I love Mountain Dew.. but need to cut back!!
95.My hair is naturally wavy.. so i straighten it every day!
96. I'm a bad copy cat haha. Especially with Jessica and clothes.
97. I love road trips
98. and boiled peanuts from gas stations
99. I love ..life!
100. And i'm kinda shocked that I came up with 100 things I'm still thinking about things to say haha. That was fun..
